Text Box: Once a project is underway, a defined and formatted reporting system is imperative to success of the Program.  Status reporting throughout the life of the Program needs to be easily understood and comparable for progress measurements.  However, all of this interaction must be coordinated by a single focal point. Schedule tracking is important to determine how you are progressing and for planning what you have left to do.  Budget tracking and rectifying is essential to keep monitored to ensure if any problems occur and are identified and solved quickly.  In utilizing the schedule and budget project controls, the project Forecast Plan can be developed so that management is always looking down the road and preparing for the future tasks while the project operates smoothly because today's work was planned and prepared for.
